"Trowbridge, meanwhile, were taking to the field for the first time since February 24 after being hit by a series of postponements.
But their lack of game time certainly didn't affect their form as Trowbridge hit the goal trail against Bassett to secure a comfortable 4-1 victory.
It proved the second time this season Bassett have conceded four times against Trowbridge as the visitors took a two-goal lead into the interval following strikes from Elliott Caldicott and Ben Ryder in the first 45 minutes.
While Rich Clarke pulled a goal back for the home side following the restart, Trowbridge soon re-established their two-goal lead when Kieron Taylor struck Town's third.
Dan Sandford rounded off the scoring for Trowbridge with a fine individual goal to wrap up the three points.
Sandford ran from the halfway line, beating the entire Bassett defence before firing into the bottom corner to hit Town's fourth."
